Introduction and General Terms

Welcome to Entaxi, a platform for all Greeks who live abroad. We provide a platform (from now on, the “Platform”) to facilitate the way you can deal with your issues in Greece and strengthen your ties with your homeland, your family and your property in Greece.

By signing up, you become a member (from now on, the “Member”) with access to our Platform. Our aim is to provide the necessary steps to a number of services in Greece easily, promptly and securely: just by filling in a form. Applying for a passport, registering inheritance, applying for a Tax File number, updating Family Status, lodging Tax return, buying and selling property, applying for an ID card, starting a company as well as other issues will be taken care of easier than ever, through the Platform.

Please read these Terms carefully, as they outine the  govern your use of the Platform.  Entaxi reserves the right to update and change the Terms & Conditions. You are encouraged to check the Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.

Each time you use the Platform you confirm your agreement to be bound by, comply with and acknowledge any changes to Entaxi Terms & Conditions and the Policies.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms as determined in the sole discretion of Entaxi will result in an immediate termination of your services. Entaxi reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time and will report immediately any attempt of illegal use of the services.

Accessing and Using

In order to access the Platform you will need to register as a Member by signing up and creating an account. You must be 18 years or older. Minors will be represented by their parents or .legal guardians.

After registering, you may have access to the Platform, by logging in with the email address you provided during the site registration process.  Your account is for your personal use only. Please keep your login details confidential at all times,  as you will be held responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account, with or without your knowledge. If you become aware of any misuse or unauthorised use of your login details, then you must inform us immediately via e-mail.

You are expected to confirm that the information you provide when you register with the Platform is accurate, current and true. If you change any of your registration details (e.g. email address, postal address), you must update your account.

We reserve the right to delete your account. In that case, any personal data or other information associated with your account will be held securely and in accordance with current legislation.

The Platform is provided on an ”as is“ and ”as available“ basis without any warranty or condition, expressed, implied or statutory. Entaxi does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free and will not be responsible for delays caused by third Parties or professionals such as Authorities, lawyers, notaries etc.

Entaxi reserves the right to modify or terminate the Platform for any reason, without notice, at any time.

Content

Once a Member is logged in, they will be asked to fill in a form providing the personal information which is usually required in applications, such as name, surname, date of birth, current address, email and telephone number.

Please note that we will not ask you to provide sensitive information as defined in section 6(1) of the Privacy Act 1988 such as information or opinion about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, religious beliefs, health information, sexual orientation or criminal record.

The members are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide at all times, including their personal information. Entaxi will not be responsible for delays or cancellations of applications caused by inaccurate or missing information, as it will be required by the relevant Authorities for submitted applications.

Misuse

Members should not use the Platform and the Entaxi services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose and they should not violate any laws in their jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, copyright laws.

Members agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Platform, use of the Platform, or access to the Platform without the Entaxi’s express written permission.

Abuse of any kind, verbal or written, (e.g. threats of abuse or retribution) of other Members, or our employees will result in immediate account termination.

Entaxi reserves the right to remove any content that fails to conform with these Terms. The decision to remove content, terminate or suspend an account shall be final.

Liability

 Entaxi does not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained through the Platform will meet the members’ expectations, or that any errors in the Platform will be corrected. It shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages that may result from the use of or inability to use the service and is not responsible for verifying the ownership of any content posted or uploaded on the Platform.

Entaxi cannot guarantee and shall not be liable in relation to the performance or credibility of any online payment processing services that will be used. Entaxi will not be liable for any losses that any member suffers as a result of us or them  failing to comply with these Terms.

Entaxi is not responsible for delays or failure of an Authority to deliver results or reply to applications.

Members agree to these Terms and will compensate Entaxi in full for any damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees we incur that arise out of any breach of these Terms or any liability we incur as a result of your use of the Platform.

Confidentiality

Confidential information  refers to any data or information relating to the Member which would reasonably be considered to be proprietary to the Member including, but not limited to, personal information, medical information, accounting records, business processes, and client records and that is not generally known in the industry of the Member and where the release of that Confidential Information could reasonably be expected to cause harm to the Member.

Entaxi agrees that they will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any Confidential Information which Entaxi has obtained, except as authorized by the Member.

The Member agrees that Confidential Information will be provided to Third Parties appointed to act on his/her behalf  to the extent needed to complete the tasks ordered by the Member, such as Lawyers, Accountants, the Authorities and other Bodies.

Capacity/independent Contractor

In providing the Services it is expressly agreed that Entaxi is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee.

Third Parties

The Member acknowledges that Entaxi is not providing legal services. Such services, if needed, will be performed by licensed lawyers or law firms appointed by the member either directly, at his/her own discretion, or after giving the explicit written permission to Entaxi to act as the member’s representative and appoint such Third Parties. The Member acknowledges that Entaxi is not responsible for failure of an appointed Third Party (lawyers, accountants etc.) to provide a service ordered by the member via Entaxi’s website/electronic platform. The Member acknowledges that Entaxi and the Third Parties appointed to act on his/her behalf are not responsible for failure of the relevant Authorities to deliver the requested services.
